INSOMNIA COOKIES
Back in 2018, Insomnia tapped us as their first-ever agency of record to shape the brand’s identity and overall direction. Since then, we’ve been eating warm, delicious cookies and keeping their cult-like fanbase on the edge of their cravings.
From launching the CookieLab (a hidden “sweet-easy”) to building a custom brand portal, throwing late-night PJ parties, and even giving away a little pot on 4/20—we’ve helped keep the brand playful, buzzy, and totally irresistible.
Over the years, Insomnia has grown beyond warm, delicious cookies and expanded into new types of sweet indulgences. So right before National Ice Cream Day—they released a cooler side of their product line—‘Cookies IN Ice Cream,’ featuring the Insomnia Cookies you know and love mixed right into premium, “dreamium” ice cream.

COOKIES IN ICE CREAM
For the ‘Cookies IN Ice Cream’ campaign, we created Foodity, a romanticized combo of rich, creamy ice cream and graphic warm, melty cookie imagery—an irresistible approach to product promotion. The full campaign came together with neon brand elements, ASMR voiceovers, and dreamy product visuals. Adjective coordinated a photo and video shoot to produce assets used on social media and created an interactive campaign landing page that introduces the new flavors in the Foodity style.

For Insomnia knows more fun is had after dark, which is why they're open and delivering until 3am. Adjective & Co. wanted to highlight the product and drive home the late-night hours to their core audience - college students. Using innuendos within a text format they’re familiar with, these Late Night Foodie Calls garnered 1.7 million YouTube views.
